How S2S works.

Server-to-server attribution is simpler than it sounds. Here's what happens when a customer converts.

Customer clicks an ad

A unique click ID is generated by the ad platform (gclid, fbclid, ttclid). We capture this ID and store it server-side — no browser storage needed.

Customer converts on your site

Purchase, sign-up, or any custom event fires. Your server sends the conversion event (with the click ID) directly to our S2S ingestion endpoint.

We match and route the conversion

1STEP matches the click ID to the originating ad, campaign, and channel. The conversion data flows to your dashboard and (optionally) back to the ad platform's conversion API.
